Walter A. Alvarez, a passionate individual about machining since a young age, made his dream come true by founding Star Machine Shop in 1979. His path to success was driven by his previous industry experience and the desire to build something of his own. He started with just two machining center machines, but thanks to his dedication and a solid customer base, Star Machine Shop experienced consistent growth and expanded to a 5,800-square-foot facility located in the southeast of Houston, Texas.
